Saughton Skatepark Jam – Edinburgh, July 30th.

Skateboard Scotland’s 2011 jam at the ridiculous Saughton Skatepark, Edinburgh, is set to take place next Saturday, July 30th, so all you destroyers of outdoor concrete need to clear your diaries, fill those cars up and get involved!

The jam will run from midday until 6pm, with bands, a BBQ, stalls and utterly raw Scottish skateboarding guaranteed!

Slam City “New Slam 3″ game of SKATE – Thursday July 28th.

Think you’ve got what it takes to beat down Tom Knox, Nick Jensen, Snowy or John Tanner in a game of SKATE? Then get yourself involved in the Slam City Skates and Banquet Records third annual “New Slam” night next Thursday, July 28th, at The Hippodrome Nightclub in Kingstone upon Thames.

Entry to the night will set you back £4, with doors open 9pm-2am and two rooms of music running once the game is over. There’s cash up for grabs as well as a pile of prizes from Etnies.

Vans 2011 Summer Camps – Dates and Locations.

The Vans summer camps are returning for 2011, taking in stops at Manchester, Castleford and Blackpool over the month of August.

With daily coaching from members of the Vans UK team between 10am and 4pm and freebies for everybody, you might as well sign up now before all the spaces fill up! The cost for the camp is £100 per person for the week – get on the blower to the appropriate parks ASAP…

8th-12th August – Central Skatepark, Manchester.
15th-19th August – Subvert, Castleford.
22nd-26th August – Ramp City, Blackpool.

The opening of Castleford’s Gravity Skateparks built Queen Park mini ramp has been rescheduled for August 4th, with an afternoon of jams, demos and live music which is set to kick off at midday and run until 6pm.

DC’s Lloyds “Big Three” comp – Bristol, August 11th.

Fancy manning up and stepping up to the infamous Big Three at Lloyds in Bristol? Well, on Thursday August 11th, DC are giving you the opportunity to session this long serving West Country proving ground, putting up £3,000 in prize money and a bunch of product in exchange for your best tricks.

The main event is set to kick off at 6pm, though there will be several games of SKATE and ledge best trick jams running across the afternoon.
