RampRage Skatepark, Colchester – Grand Opening, Dec 10th.

Colchester is on the verge of having it’s very own indoor playground in the form of the soon to opened RampRage Skatepark!

The Slam City Xmas Party 2011 – Dec 14th.

It’s that time of the year again when the Slam City lot descend upon The Macbeth for their annual Xmas Party, this time around bringing with them launch of Grey Magazine issue 7, alongside DJ’s Inspectah Neck, Jake’s Alley, Samshers, Lev, Jackson and Hops.

UKSA Mini Ramp Champs 2011

This past weekend saw the UKSA Mini Ramp Champs returning to it’s familiar surroundings of X-Site Skatepark, Skegness, with the girls taking care of business on Saturday, and sponsored and unsponsored types going off yesterday afternoon.

Sidewalk x Santa Cruz “Xmas Pool Party” – Hemel Hempstead, Dec 18th.

Feeling in the mood for a bit of a festive bowl bash? If the answer is ‘yes’ then get yourself involved in the Sidewalk x Santa Cruz “Xmas Pool Party” which will be taking place at The XC Skatepark, Hemel Hempstead, on Sunday December 18th.

The shindig kicks off at 7pm and will run until 10pm, with an under 16’s bowl bash, over 16’s pool party and a girl’s mini ramp jam, with a Santa’s Cruz Grotto dishing out presents for all and a live DJ spinning ear-pleases all night long.

The Crossfire Xmas Jam 2011 – BaySixty6, Dec 10th.

Zac and the boys at Crossfire have bitten the gift-wrapped bullet for the ninth year running and confirmed all the details for the 2011 Crossfire Xmas Jam!

Get in the festive spirit, wrap up warm and head on down to Bay Sixty6 Skatepark on December 10th for an unsposored comp with Slam City vouchers up for grabs, and pro and sponsored street jams and mini ramp session with £600 cash on the line!

As ever, the jam will be followed by the traditional booze fueled riot/after-party at Mau Mau on Portobello Road, where Dainton and co will also be premiering the brand new Kill City video “Rookies”.

Vans “Concrete Carnival 2011″ – Hemel Hempstead, Dec 3rd/4th.

Slightly later in the UK events calendar than normal, Vans “Concrete Carnival” returns next month, this time around at it’s new home of The XC, Hemel Hempstead.

Taking place over the weekend of December 3rd and 4th, the now two day event will see a prize purse of £5000 up for grabs in the pro/sponsored comp, a “Werthers Original” masters jam, under 16 and 16+ comps for unsponsored types, and special guest Eric Dressen!

Prices, times and schedules for the weekend are set to be announced next week so keep an eye out for the updated info, but for now be sure to block these dates out in your diaries.

“Big Push 2011″ offcuts (1st Part)

Vans have dropped the first of two offcuts edits from this years Big Push, with waffle youth Denis Lynn, Nick Remon, Shaun Currie, Matthew Nevitt, Jirka Bulin, Jake Collins, Joe O’Donnell and Daryl Dominguez ticking off more challenges from the Mad Hatters Trick List, and hitting a couple of outdoor parks in the process.

UKSA National Mini Ramp Champs – Nov 12/13th – Skegness

The winter events calender is slowly filling up again, with the announcement about the fourth annual UKSA National Mini Ramp Champs taking care of the weekend of November 12th and 13th for most.

Returning back to its home of X-Site Skatepark, Skegness, the Saturday will see the Girls Jam taking over the ramp at 4pm, with unsponsored and sponsored sessions making up the majority of Sunday’s schedule as heads from all over the UK battle it out for the title of “UK Mini Ramp Champ 2011″.
