Burning Ink March 13th
Following on from the events in Paris, New York City and Berlin, DC Europe is launching the 4th edition of the Burning Ink art show in London (Beach Gallery, 20 Cheshire Street, E2), from the 13th to the 31st of March 2012 in partnership with Kids love Ink Custom Tattooing owned by the very talented Charlie Shazer.
Bringing together a unique selection of world-renowned street artists, graphic designers and illustrators, Burning Ink is a crossover event between the worlds of fine arts and tattoos.

One In A Million is back and this time it heads to New York City with host John Cardiel, as the skaters take on the streets of the Big Apple in pursuit of their dreams.
Many skateboarders dream of living the sponsored life. Free product, trips around the globe, and getting paid to do what you love. Sounds like heaven, right? But the journey to the promised land isn’t all that easy. One In A Million follows 11 of the nation’s greenest, most ripping young skateboarders, as they compete for a spot on the roster with the most legit sponsors in the game including Vans, CCS, Spitfire, Independent, Zero, Quiksilver and Mtn Dew! This year, the competition heads to New York City with host John Cardiel, as the skaters take on the streets of the Big Apple in pursuit of their dreams.

VANS OFF THE WALL MUSIC TOUR PRESENTS THE DEVIL WEARS PRADA ‘DEAD THRONE’ TOUR UK
Vans is has announced that The Devil Wears Prada will be headlining the Vans Off The Wall Music Tour. Vans have established ties with The Devil Wears Prada, releasing limited edition footwear in honour of the band in 2011.
The 12 date tour will focus on the sensational Dead Throne album, which has received rave reviews, hailed as “accomplished, deft and unbelievably powerful from start to finish” by Rock Sound magazine. Throughout the tour, the band will be stopping by at various Vans stores up and down the UK for in-store signings. For your chance to meet the band in person, be sure to make your way to the relevant Vans store on the dates outlined below:

Singer Mike Hranica says, “We aim to give listeners and fans something they can enjoy, but we’ll also always make songs we personally stand behind. We’d write differently if we were purely trying to sell albums, that’s just not how it works for us. No compromises.”
The Devil Wears Prada are: Frontman Mike Hranica, guitarist/vocalist Jeremy DePoyster, guitarist Chris Rubey, bassist Andy Trick, keyboardist James Baney, and drummer Daniel Williams.

Design Your Own Skateboard Competition!
Welcome to our ‘Design Your Own Skateboard‘ Competition! The prize? Seeing your design come to life! That’s right peeps it’s your turn to design a skateboard deck of your own and the winner will have their design printed for real!
To enter, you must first download the template from our website. The template can be used in Photoshop, Illustrator or simply printed and worked on by hand depending on your abilities. Don’t worry you don’t need to be a Graphic designer to enter! This competition is being judged by the people of Facebook simply on the design they ‘Like’ the best. It’s all about creativity, imagination and concept in whatever form it takes! So give it a go and you could win some rad prizes for your efforts!
Once you have designed your deck you must email the finished artwork to wassup@feralinc.com (obviously if you have chosen to draw, paint or collage your deck you will need to scan it first and then email it to us).
As soon as we receive it, we will post your entry on our Facebook Page and let the people vote for their favorite! The design with the most ‘Likes’ from the Facebook community wins! Remember you can drum up as much support from your friends and family as you like but only ‘Likes’ on the official Feral Inc Facebook Page count towards the final scores!
Rules
- Only entries using the supplied template will be valid.
- You may enter as many different designs as you wish.
- ‘Likes’ on different designs by the same entrant will not be counted together – your highest score for a given design will be used as your best score.
- Your entry is only valid if posted by Feral Inc on the official Feral Inc Facebook Page – likes from any other source will not be counted towards the final scores – YOU MUST EMAIL IT TO US!
- Last date for submission is midnight on Tuesday 31st January 2012, submissions received after then will not be entered into the competition.
- Judging will last 2 weeks and ends at midnight on Tuesday 14th February 2012, any additional ‘Likes’ after this point will not be counted towards final scores.
- The Winner and 2 Runner-ups will be announced by Friday 17th February 2012.
- In the event of a tie situation an external panel of 3 judges (appointed by Feral Inc) will decide the Winner.
- We like controversial but no overtly offensive, racist or victimising content will be posted. If an entry is deemed too offensive it will simply be deleted from our inbox.
- By entering you assign ownership of your design to Feral Inc for the sake of this competition. We will not use your design for anything other than creating the prize for this competition should you win.
- Likewise, by entering you give your full consent for Feral Inc to post images of your design on http://www.facebook.com/
- You may not use the Feral Inc logo without our prior written consent.

RampRage Skatepark, Colchester – Grand Opening, Dec 10th.

Colchester is on the verge of having it’s very own indoor playground in the form of the soon to opened RampRage Skatepark!

This past weekend saw the UKSA Mini Ramp Champs returning to it’s familiar surroundings of X-Site Skatepark, Skegness, with the girls taking care of business on Saturday, and sponsored and unsponsored types going off yesterday afternoon.

Sidewalk x Santa Cruz “Xmas Pool Party” – Hemel Hempstead, Dec 18th.

Feeling in the mood for a bit of a festive bowl bash? If the answer is ‘yes’ then get yourself involved in the Sidewalk x Santa Cruz “Xmas Pool Party” which will be taking place at The XC Skatepark, Hemel Hempstead, on Sunday December 18th.
The shindig kicks off at 7pm and will run until 10pm, with an under 16’s bowl bash, over 16’s pool party and a girl’s mini ramp jam, with a Santa’s Cruz Grotto dishing out presents for all and a live DJ spinning ear-pleases all night long.
