After their last attempt got rained off, DC have rescheduled their Lloyds “Big Three” comp in Bristol for Saturday September 18th. Get the lowdown underneath…
Fancy manning up and stepping to the infamous Big Three at Lloyds in Bristol? Well, on Saturday September 18th, DC, Fifty-Fifty, Sidewalk and Monster are giving you the opportunity to session this long serving West Country proving ground, putting up £2,000 in prize money and a bunch of product in exchange for your best tricks.
The main event is set to kick off at 4pm, though there will be several games of SKATE and ledge best trick jams running across the afternoon.

Tea-riffic Tea Party!

As we all know, one great cornerstone of British society is the humble ‘Cup of Tea’. Introducing Tea-riffic, a hair-brain collaboration between Carhartt & Lovenskate.
Only 30 limited edition TEA-RRIFIC! collaboration box sets have been made, each containing:
1 x Skateboard deck- 8.25″ wide
1 x 2 Pint Tea-pot
2 x 1 Pint Mugs
2 x Sticker packs
1 x Large T-shirt
2 x Tea-Riffic tea bags
The board is Lovenskate wood, pressed in the USA then shipped to the UK and screen-printed at Lovenskate headquarter in London. Once made in Stoke-on-Trent the tea-pots and mugs are hand screen-printed and fired in the kiln also at Lovenskate. Carhartt shirts will get the Lovenskate treatment before they make their way into the box too. And last but definitely not least will be a couple of Traditional English Breakfast tea bags to set off the whole operation as it was intended.

Vans Classic ‘Yo Gabba” Collection Spring 2011

Vans continues their collaboration with Yo Gabba Gabba into Spring 2011. The capsule collection next season consists of two Sk8Hi Deconstruct’s and six Slip-On’s, all featuring colorful all over patterns from the cartoon. Look out for a release to be announced soon.

Nike Dunk Pro SB. (Review)

Nike Dunks have been skated in since long before the brand solidified their skate program. However, with their initial offering of skate-specific footwear in the current iteration, Nike has maintained a souped-up Dunk for skating as a regular part of their SB skate-specific line. Recently, with the rise of so many vulcanized shoes in the skate shoe market, Nike set out once again to re-engineer the shoe once again.
The New Dunk Pro Mid from SB shown here in the charcoal and tar colorway.
WHAT IT IS:
The new Nike Dunk Pro from the SB line is a lighter, grippier, with better board feel. According toJames Arizumi, Nike’s Footwear Design Director for the SB line, the new Dunk is “more durable and comfortable than ever before.”
“The Footwear Design team set the re-engineer the Dunk under the belief that we could build a better shoe for skateboarding and revive a cupsole Icon in a marketplace flooded by vulcanized footwear,” says Arizumi.
